Special Thanks

Even though my time at CSUN was cut tragically short by the Covid-19 pandemic, I truly feel as though I am leaving the Jazz Studies program a better and more complete person. I am immensely grateful for everything that CSUN has provided for me and for allowing me to study under the tutelage of such an elite faculty and forge beautiful life long friendships.

I’d first like to thank my parents, Wendy and Joe. Thank you for supporting and encouraging me 100% of the way ever since I picked up a trumpet all those years ago. I would not be anywhere in this world without you and I couldn’t ask for better role models.

To all of my mentors at CSUN, Gary Fukushima, Michael Mull, Gary Pratt, Scott Whitfield, Nick Mancini, Dan Schnelle, Gene Coye, Dave Robaire, Howie Shear, Erick Jovel and Tina Raymond… from the bottom of my heart the most sincere thank you. You have all instilled in me so much wisdom and further passion for musical and personal exploration.

To everyone who played on the album, I am forever in your debt. Thank you.

And finally a huge shoutout to my CSUN Jazz family. I have loved every single minute of your company. Whether it was hanging/playing in person or chatting on Zoom I have gained so much from so many of you. I know you all will be a huge part of my life moving forward.

Enjoy the album!
